Late 1960s and early 1970s marked a period of time when American distillers saw a significant decrease in the market share of bourbon. Clear spirits like vodka started to take its place as mixers for cocktails. This is a clumsy attempt at saving bourbon’s dominance, released under a bold slogan - ‘a bar in a bottle’. Initially billed as a spirit that could be a base for any cocktail, it never saw much success. This is a cool collector’s iteam.
