Hankey Bannister is an acclaimed Blended whisky produced by Inver House distillers but originally named after its founders Beaumont Hankey and Hugh Bannister, Two London entrepreneurs who saw the potential in blending and bottling Scottish whisky in London in the mid 18th century, One of Sir Winston Churchill’s favourite whiskies. The quality and exclusivity of this bottle are quite apparent from first glance, the box and decanter made of finest materials and furthermore the notes on smell and taste. The fragrance is very smooth made of vanilla, butter and blackcurrant, The palate starts gently and deepens with vanilla and oak wood with a slightly waxy undertone and this stays and depends further for a medium long finish of charred wood and vanilla.
