Hailing from the Islay distillery of Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte PC 9 would be a unique drink even if it wasn’t an exclusive. The dram has prominent smoky notes throughout, the Islay signature. The nose is mild and fruity with hints of red berries and seaweed. From the first sip, the taste has a lot of smoky tones – peat smoke, ash, BBQ, gunpowder, coupled with lemon and zest. The smoky finish lingers, gradually replaced with creamy notes. Port Charlotte PC 9 is a masterpiece single malt, and there are only 6000 bottles of it, so make sure to try out this drink!
