Alister Cunningham was a Master Distiller for Allied Distillers for 50 years between 1942 and 1992 he played a part in some major whisky manufacturing including Glenfiddich Single Malt, Glenlivet Single Malt, Ballantine’s Finest etc. etc. So when it came time to say goodbye to Mr Alister Cunningham, Allied Distillers launched a whisky in a very limited edition for employees alone, The Alister Cunningham’s 50 years, It is a blend of 50 of Allied Distillers best whiskies from across Scotland. This bottling is not only a rare find but is a piece of Scottish Whisky history.
