AnCnoc Rutter draws its character from the heart of Speyside, crafted at the Knockdhu distillery with peat traditionally harvested using a ‘Rutter’ – a tool for carefully selecting slow-burning turf. This meticulous process yields a uniquely fragrant smokiness, measured at 11.0 PPM, distinguishing it from heavily peated expressions. Expect a whisky where smoke doesn’t dominate, but rather weaves through notes of heather honey and orchard fruit.
