Traigh Bhan is a small-batch annual release from the Ardbeg distillery, inspired by Islay's west coast beach, known as The Singing Sands. Matured in a combination of bourbon and oloroso casks, this 19-year-old whisky showcases the signature tarry, sooty smoke balanced against citric sweetness and an oily mouthfeel characteristic of Ardbeg. Bottled at 46.2% ABV, Traigh Bhan's complex flavour profile is complemented by its American Oak and Oloroso Sherry Cask maturation, resulting in a rich and full-bodied whisky experience. Hailing from the Glenmorangie-owned distillery, which was established in 1815 and has undergone significant changes over the years, this expression embodies Ardbeg's distinctive personality while also showcasing the influence of Glenmorangie's cask finishing expertise.
