Distilled on the Isle of Islay, Ardbeg 21 Year Old is a richly rewarding single malt, born from maturation exclusively in ex-Bourbon casks for over two decades. This expression, originally a special release for the Ardbeg Committee in 2001, showcases the distillery’s signature smoky character alongside notes of dark chocolate, citrus, and spice. Its lengthy maturation imparts a remarkable depth and complexity, culminating in a long, satisfying finish. Only a limited number of bottles were ever created, each individually signed by Stuart Thomson, representing a treasured piece of Ardbeg history.
