Hailing from the iconic Ardbeg distillery on Islay, this limited edition release is the result of innovative cask charring techniques, where the casks' heads are scored and toasted with infrared heat to enhance the spirit's interaction with oak. The resulting whisky combines Ardbeg's signature smoky depth with a rich, fruity sweetness, all wrapped in a smooth, oily texture. Aged in bourbon casks, this expression has been bottled at 48.2% ABV, showcasing the perfect balance of peat and citrus notes.
