Ardbeg Hypernova Committee Release HN2022

Located in the remote isle of Islay, Scotland, Ardbeg Distillery has been producing its distinctive whisky since 1815. The Hypernova expression, part of the Supernova series, showcases the distillery's signature style with a smoky, sooty profile balanced by citric sweetness and an oily mouthfeel. With phenol levels exceeding 170 ppm, this whisky packs a punch, making it one of the smokiest expressions to date from Ardbeg. Bottled in May 2022, Hypernova is aged in American Oak casks, resulting in a complex and full-bodied whisky with a rich, lingering finish.
