Ardbeg Hypernova Committee Release

Ardbeg Distillery is an Islay Island distillery. The distilleries on the Isle of Islay are so unique they have their very own distinction from other Island whiskies, the coastline is dotted with names such as Lagavulin and Bruichladdich. The committee releases are originally for the Ardbeg committee members and later for the greater public. The Hypernova is claimed to be the smokiest ever to be released by Ardbeg and once opened the smoke is strongly evident with aromas of peat smoke, honey bbq, vanilla and tar, the palate is grapefruit, ash, peat smoke, and honey with a long finish of honey, melted butter, and peat smoke.
