Ardbeg Kelpie is a distinctive Islay single malt, notable as the first from this distillery to mature in virgin Black Sea oak. Sourced from the Adyghe Republic near the Black Sea, these unique casks lend an exceptionally deep and rich character to the spirit. Initially matured in these bold oak casks, Kelpie is then harmoniously married with Ardbeg whisky aged in traditional ex-Bourbon barrels. The result is a complex and intensely flavored dram, offering a unique exploration of Ardbeg’s signature smoky profile.
