This charitable bottling from the Kildalton Project combines Ardbeg's signature smoky, sooty character with notes of citric sweetness and an oily mouthfeel, influenced by Glenmorangie's innovative cask finishing techniques. Distilled at Islay's oldest distillery, this 2014 release is matured in a combination of bourbon, first-fill, and refill sherry casks, resulting in a complex and full-bodied whisky with a 46% ABV.
