Ardnahoe 5 Year Old Inaugural Release

Ardnahoe's inaugural single malt release is a rich and full-bodied whisky, distilled on the north east coast of Islay near Bunnahabhain and Caol Ila distilleries. Aged in a combination of bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks for 5 years, this whisky boasts complex flavours of vanilla, oak, and dark chocolate, with a subtle smokiness from its traditional wooden worm tubs. The still room's impressive views of Jura across the Sound of Islay seem to have infused the spirit with a sense of rugged Scottish landscape. Available in 70cl bottles at 50% ABV, this release marks a significant milestone for Hunter Laing & Co.'s Ardnahoe distillery.
