Ardnamurchan : AD02.22 Cask Strength

Born amidst the rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands, Ardnamurchan AD02.22 is a powerful cask strength expression from a distillery renowned for its remote location and traditional methods. This 58.7% ABV whisky unites the influence of ex-bourbon barrels, with a significant portion matured on peated spirit – forty out of fifty casks featured peated barley. The result is a complex spirit offering a rich tapestry of flavours, hinting at sweet vanilla alongside a distinctive smoky character. Released in April 2022, it represents an early and compelling glimpse into the potential of this emerging Highland distillery.
