This exceptional single malt originates from a unique collaboration between the Isle of Arran Distillery and Orkney College’s Agronomy Institute, reviving the ancient Scottish barley strain, Bere. Grown on the Orkney Islands, malted in Inverness, and distilled & matured on Arran, this 2004 vintage offers a genuine taste of whisky history. Eight years of maturation in American oak yields a distinctive character, bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration or colouring for a pure expression of the spirit.
