A step up from Balbair`s excellent 12 year old in terms of both richness and complexity. The nose is baked apple with a hint of honey and toasted nuts while the palate has hints of dried fruit and touch of sweet barley. The finish is mix of orange peel and figs with a touch of vanilla from the oak ageing.
