Ballechin 17 Year Old 2004 – Edition No.36B (Whisky Sponge & Decadent Drinks)

A brilliant Ballechin single malt here, bottled up by Decadent Drinks and the Whisky Sponge. This peaty expression from Edradour was distilled in 2004 and matured for 17 years, entirely in a refill Fino sherry butt. Fino sherry matured whiskies aren’t all that common, but they are most certainly exciting to see, even if the label on this one is a bit… Haunting. A release of 629 bottles.
