Balvenie – 12 Year Old – Doublewood

Crafted in the heart of Speyside at the historic Balvenie Distillery, established in 1892, this 12 Year Old DoubleWood showcases a pioneering maturation technique. Initially aged for at least twelve years in traditional American oak, the spirit is then ‘finished’ in first-fill Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks for a further nine months, imparting a unique depth of flavour. This dual-wood aging results in a beautifully balanced single malt, offering notes of honey, vanilla, and subtle spice alongside rich dried fruit and sherry sweetness.
