Balvenie 14 Year Old Caribbean Cask

Balvenie is situated in Dufftown, Scotland, next door to sister distillery Glenfiddich, yet its style of spirit differs significantly from its neighbour's. The distillery produces a sweeter, more honeyed new make spirit with a hint of light peatiness. The Caribbean Cask expression showcases the innovative maturation processes pioneered by Balvenie, aged for 14 years in traditional casks before being finished in Caribbean rum casks to add rich fruit and vanilla flavours. This results in a complex whisky that is full-bodied and smooth, with an ABV of 43%.
