Benromach Peat Smoke 2009

Benromach is a traditional, family-owned distillery situated in Speyside. Joining their ?Contrasts? series is this vintage single malt, made with heavily peated barley in small batches. It offers aromas of vanilla, honey, barbecued meats, dried apricot and lemon zest. On the palate, fruity notes of strawberries and oranges mingle with aniseed and black pepper.
