Benromach Sassicaia Wood Finish

Benromach is located in the Speyside region of Scotland on the outskirts of the small town of Forres. Founded in 1898 but has since changed hands numerous times it is owned by Gordon & Macphail since 1993 and to this day. This expression had been matured in barrels previously used for rich Sassicaia wine (A winery in Tuscany). Once opened the aromas of honey, pepper, peat smoke and apple meet your nose, the palate is of summer fruit, oak, raspberry and salt, with a short finish of vanilla, red berries, and smoke.
