Bladnoch distillery is a lowlands distillery in the southwest of Scotland along the river Bladnoch, established in 1817 by the brothers McClelland and enjoyed relative success until around the 1890s when it started to have some difficulties but somehow managed to survive until WWII when it closed between the 1940s and 2000s it opened again and closed, again and again, a few times, this whisky is from that period of reopening and staying open. The whiff of rhubarb and gooseberry stew will greet your nose lime and lemon for starters with a smoky undertone with a finish off with sour lemon cake and yogurt, Simple yet gratifying. This is a very rare and hard to get Whisky.
