Bowmore Mizunara Cask

Hailing from the iconic Islay distillery Bowmore, this pioneering whisky is one of the first Scottish drams to be matured in Japanese mizunara oak. This exclusive release showcases the unique characteristics of Bowmore single malt, initially matured in ex-bourbon and a small percentage of ex-sherry casks before being transferred to virgin mizunara oak for a further three years. The result is a complex and full-bodied whisky with subtle notes of Japanese influence, expertly balanced by Bowmore's signature smoky and peaty flavors. Bottled at 53.9% ABV, this limited release of just 2000 bottles is a truly unique addition to any whisky collection.
