About this whisky
- Region:
From the historic Bruichladdich Distillery, founded on the windswept Isle of Islay in 1881, comes this exceptional single malt – a testament to the island’s agricultural heritage. Unusually for Islay, this expression is unpeated, allowing the inherent sweetness of the barley to shine through. Crafted from 100% Islay-grown Optic and Oxbridge barley, harvested from eight local farms in 2010, it offers a unique taste of the terroir. Matured in a harmonious blend of bourbon and French wine casks, expect a complex and rewarding whisky with notes of fruit, cereal sweetness, and a subtle coastal influence.
