This vintage 1970s miniature of Black & White whisky, created by James Buchanan & Co, represents a classic example of one of Scotland's most internationally renowned blends. Originally launched in 1884, Black & White became famous for its distinctive black and white Scottish terrier dogs on the label, which were inspired by Buchanan watching the breed at a dog show. This collectible miniature dates from the 1970s when spirits were still measured in proof rather than ABV, bottled at 70 proof as was standard for the era. Like many miniatures from this period, it's believed to contain approximately 4.7cl of whisky, offering collectors a preserved snapshot of this historic brand during a transformative decade in Scotch whisky production."
