About this whisky
- Region:
Bunnahabhain is a whisky that embodies the unique characteristics of Islay's remote north east coast, where it was built in 1881 by William Robertson. Its light style of malt is crafted using low-fill stills with an abundance of copper, which complements the rich and sweet flavours imparted by traditional ex-Sherry cask ageing. A portion of Bunnahabhain production is heavily peated, adding a subtle smokiness to this 12-year-old whisky bottled at 55.1% ABV in 2021.
