Dailuaine's rich heritage dates back to 1889, when it became the first distillery in Scotland to feature a unique pagoda-style roof. This 34-year-old single malt, distilled in 1980, boasts a complex flavour profile shaped by its use of stainless steel condensers, which impart a subtle sulphur-like quality to the spirit. The whisky's grassy and waxy notes evoke the characteristics of Clynelish and Deanston, while its full-bodied character is balanced by a hint of subtlety. Bottled at 50.9% ABV in 2015, this limited release single malt is a true representation of Dailuaine's signature style.
