Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old (1990s Edition)

Dalwhinnie is the second highest distillery working in Scotland and although within the Speyside whisky region will sometimes be referred to as a Highland Whisky. The Dalwhinnie 15 year old is its core range and along with the Distillers, the choice is of the more popular of its bottling, which it produces with only two stills, making it also one of Scotland's smallest distilleries. Once opened you expect the aromas of heather, honey, forest fruit and vanilla, the palate is honey, cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, and oak with a long finish of apple, honey, citrus and peaty smoke.
