Historical Context

Eden Mill opened near St Andrews in October 2014 as a combined brewery and distillery. To engage supporters and generate early cashflow they bottled some of the very first spirit as a Hogmanay 2014 commemorative. Because distillation only began in November 2014, this bottling captures spirit from the first weeks of production and documents the early malt recipe: Pale Malt plus Chocolate Malt. It is therefore a historical bottling for anyone tracking the rebirth of small Scottish distilleries in the 2010s.
