The folks at The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. have created a wonderful blended malt here, released as part of The Cooper’s Choice independent bottle range. This expression combines single malts from 15 distillers, making use of the company’s huge liquid archive. The likes of Caol Ila, Bunnahabhain, Laphroaig, Mortlach, and Benrinnes are blended with others, married, and finished in a sherry cask ? hence the Sweet & Smoky name on the label. Wonderful stuff, this is a real treat and a fabulous amalgamation of The Cooper’s Choice collection.
