Glen Moray Highland Regiments 16 Year Old The Black Watch

Established in 1897 the Glen Moray distillery began operations in the Speyside region of Scotland, an area renowned for its unique whisky and numerous distilleries. The Glen Moray is owned by French spirits company La Martiniquaise, which produces Porto Cruz port and Poliakov Vodka. This bottle of the Highland Regiments Black Watch portrays the 3rd Battalion, which was created in 1881 (within the regiments they refer to themselves also as the Ladies from Hell). Once opened the aroma of apple, black tea and grass, the palate is woody and apple and toffee with a long finish of pepper, grass and peat.
