Glenallachie Distillery's rich history dates back to 1898, with its whisky initially destined for the White Horse blend. Today, under the ownership of Billy Walker, Graham Stevenson, and Trisha Savage, Glenallachie produces both unpeated and peated spirits, including their award-winning Meikle Toir range. This particular expression is a Cask Strength Batch #5, aged for 10 years in a selection of premium casks, including PX, Oloroso, Virgin Oak, and Rioja Wine casks, resulting in a robust and full-bodied whisky with an ABV of 55.9%.
