Glendullan 16 Years Old Centenary Bottling

Founded in 1897 on the river Fiddich, the Glendullen distillery started production. In 1972 a second distillery was built just next door to run in tandem, to be called ‘Glendullen 2’. In 1985 the original Glendullen was closed down but Glendullen 2 continues to produce liquid for blends and for the ‘Singleton of Glendullen’ brand that was launched in 2007 exclusively for the North American market. The aroma of autumn fruit is intense with rose, vanilla and orange peel, the palate is peppery, almond, cocoa and orange peel, with a long finish of vanilla, grass, and baked pepper. Intriguing indeed.
