This Glenfarclas whisky is a rich and full-bodied expression, distilled in 1954 from a sherry butt cask at the family-owned Glenfarclas Distillery on Speyside. Mellowed by melt water from Ben Rinnes, which flows through granite and heather before reaching the distillery, this whisky has developed a deep complexity over time. With only 424 bottles released in 2013, each bottle is a rare opportunity to experience the Grant family's legacy of craftsmanship and tradition, with notes of dark chocolate, fruitcake, and hints of smoke on the palate.
