Glenfiddich 18 year old Ancient Reserve

Glenfiddich Is one of the single malt pioneers, being the first to market their single malt in 1963. This 18 year old ancient reserve was launched in 1998 and produced only until 2007 when a new packaging design was implemented. In this blue decanter the gentle aromas of blood oranges and bananas, are malty with heather and just that memory of smoke, but the palate brings out the malt sweetness with apple and cinnamon, honey, and still the oranges ending mid to long with the cinnamon and vanilla. Simple and satisfying.
