This unique whisky is known as the Snow Phoenix, inspired by a rare event in 2010 when Glenfiddich's warehouse roofs collapsed under record snowfall, exposing maturing oak casks to the elements. Crafted from a blend of natural strength and non-chill filtered casks aged to different lengths and finished in American oak and Oloroso sherry barrels, this whisky boasts a complex taste profile. With an ABV of 47.6%, the Snow Phoenix is bottled at a full strength that allows its rich flavours to shine through.
