Glenmorangie 12 Year Old Three Cask Matured is a Sainsbury’s-exclusive single malt marrying first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, new charred oak and ex-Rioja wine casks, then bottled at 40% ABV in a 700 ml format. It carries the distillery’s bright, fruit-forward style with vanilla cream and honeyed malt from the bourbon wood, toasted caramel and gentle spice from the fresh charred oak, and a subtle red-berry/dried-fruit accent from the Rioja influence. Smooth and balanced with a clean, lightly oaked finish, it’s an easy sipper neat, over a large cube, or as an elevated highball.
