Glenmorangie Cellar 13

Glenmorangie is one of the best selling single malt whiskies in the world, founded in 1843 but believed to be distilled on the Morangie farm since as early as 1703 it has gone from strength to strength to this day. The Cellar 13 series casks of whisky that their first fill cask are matured in cellar 13 which is a unique cellar with low stone walls and earth floor, very unlike the new warehouse industrial cellars most commonly used otherwise. Once opened the aromas of grapefruit, pinewood, banana, summer flowers and a touch of vanilla are present, the palate is lemon, Christmas spice, toasted oak and almonds with a medium long finish of vanilla, roasted chestnut, toffee and oak.
