Glenmorangie is one of the best selling single malt whiskies in the world, founded in 1843 but believed to be distilled on the Morangie farm since as early as 1703 it has gone from strength to strength to this current day. The 100° Proof for the ABV refers to the traditional method of determining the alcohol percentage for taxation purposes and 100° equates to 57.15%. Aromas of vanilla, citrus, pears, and sea air characterise this whisky, the palate is pepper, vanilla, mint and cinnamon with a long finish of vanilla cinnamon and chilli pepper.
