The sixth entry of Glenmorangie's Private Collection Edition. This whisky has been made with ‘Maris Otter’ barley which was originally bred in 1965 as a high-quality malt. Over the years, higher yielding varieties were taking over yet this specific malt is still used for high quality ales and whisky. This is an old fashion whisky, holding the scented notes of Biscuit, Orange and Lemon and a flavour of chocolate milk with notes of ginger and cinnamon, with plenty of malt flavour to settle your palate. This whisky is matured in a small amount of specially selected casks.
