About this whisky

Glentauchers is known more for its part in blends such as Ballentines rather than Glentauchers own single malts so it is rare but that is a shame as this is an exquisite Whisky. Aged in Sherry butts this whisky has acquired whisps of sweet lemon and pear with cinnamon and just a light oak in the background and the palate is filled with milky chocolate desert and summer berry only to leave your mouth with orange and vanilla oak. This whisky has also won the Liquid Gold Awards -2014 by the Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible.
