Also known as the `mountain forest distillery, the original Hakushu distillery was built in 1973, with another distillery building called Hakushu Higashi added in 1981. This is one of their limited-edition single cask releases, which was matured in Sherry casks. This was exclusive to the Japanese market in 2014, with only 3,000 bottles produced.
