From the historic Campbeltown region, once the heart of Scotch whisky production, comes this Hazelburn 16 Year Old, distilled in 2007. This expression, from the Springbank distillery, carries the legacy of the original Hazelburn – a pioneering site where Masataka Taketsuru, a key figure in Japanese whisky, honed his skills. Triple distilled and unpeated, it offers a light and fruity character, matured to 50.8% ABV in Ruby Port casks. Expect a delicate yet complex dram, showcasing the unique coastal influence and refined spirit of Campbeltown. This is one of only 1610 bottles released in September 2023.
