Hazelburn 8 Year Old First Edition The Maltings

Hazelburn is a triple distilled, un-peated single malt whisky from Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. This light and fruity dram was launched in 2005 as part of the distillery's revival after a long period of dormancy, paying homage to the original Hazelburn distillery where Masataka Taketsuru, the Grandfather of Japanese whisky, learned his craft. The Maltings edition features artwork by Ian Gray, one of three commissioned pieces for this inaugural release. With an age statement of 8 years old and bottled at 46% ABV, this whisky showcases a delicate balance of flavours, characteristic of its Campbeltown heritage.
