Highland Park 1999 Full Volume

Highland Park remains one of Scotland's most northerly whisky distilleries, founded in 1798 by David Robertson on the site of an illicit still operated by Magnus Eunson. This particular expression is a rock 'n' roll release that sets itself apart from the traditional sherry-matured Highland Parks, using only Bourbon casks for maturation and boasting a fiery ABV of 47.2%. The result is a whisky with a bold and unapologetic character, showcasing the distinct Orcadian peat used in the malting process and a heathery sweetness that's been amped up to new heights. Distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2017, this whisky is a true original from one of Scotland's most celebrated distilleries.
