Jack Daniel’s 1914 Gold Medal

In 1996 Jack Daniel Distillery started releasing every year the ‘Gold medal series’ to celebrate each one of the gold medals the Jack Daniels Whisky has won. The 1914 (released in 2001) commemorates a very special gold medal. In that same year, the prohibition in the United Stated was taking hold and the Distillery stopped producing any Whiskey the nephew of Jack Daniel, Lem Motlow was quick to ship a batch he had to the Anglo- American exposition taking place in London. The Tennessee Whiskey took top honours once again.
