Karuizawa 30 Year Old Bourbon Cask 8606 1983

This 30-year-old Karuizawa has been matured solely in bourbon casks. The nose has distinct beeswax notes, furniture polish, plus hints of lime and rosemary. The palate is full of flavours, including candied apples, butter-sugar pancakes with a sprinkle of cinnamon, and citrusy elements such as ruby grapefruit jam and candied lime peel. The finish is medium-long, with a ginger kick piercing through the sweetness.
