Karuizawa and Kawasaki Time Slip Ghost Series No 7

This exciting release is a blend of malt from Karuizawa and grain from Kawasaki – both legendary Japanese distilleries which are now closed. The liquid was blended in the 1970s and laid to rest in glass, not oak. During the 1980s, the whisky was returned to wood, an ex-Spanish oak that had previously contained Karuizawa spirit. This finishing period occurred until bottling in 2015.
