Kilchoman 2006 Vintage

Kilchoman, Islay’s newest distillery – and potentially its oldest in heritage – began production in 2005, reviving a tradition tracing back to the earliest Scottish distillations around 1300. This 2006 vintage showcases Kilchoman’s commitment to quality, matured for five years exclusively in first-fill Bourbon barrels and Oloroso Sherry butts. The result is a whisky brimming with rich, fruity notes balanced by a subtle smoky character inherent to Islay malts. Bottled at 46% ABV, it offers a full-bodied experience reflecting the distillery’s dedication to a complete, on-site production process – from malting to bottling.
