Kilchoman – Fèis Ìle 2015

Kilchoman, Islay’s farm distillery, began production in 2005 – the first new distillery on the island in over a century. This 2015 Fèis Ìle release showcases the distillery’s commitment to traditional, farm-to-bottle whisky making, utilizing barley grown on the rugged Islay landscape. Matured exclusively in bourbon casks distilled in May 2008 and bottled in May 2015 at a robust 58.2% ABV, it offers a powerful and characterful expression of Islay spirit. Expect a bold flavour profile reflecting the coastal environment and the influence of American oak.
